How much does a web site cost?
Ah yes, the most popular and difficult to answer question of all. Short answer. It depends. All websites are different, so it’s sort of like asking “How much does a car cost?”. That said, you may find our article “How much does a web design cost?” useful as a general starting reference.
Do you customize existing Wordpress Themes or other templates?
Nope! All of our custom designs are originals and are lovingly handcrafted and coded, pixel by pixel. All good business know where their strongest skills are and that is where ours lie; focusing on fully customized solutions from the bottom up.
What's the difference between theme customization and custom website design?
Short answer. Theme customization is customizing an existing theme and custom website design is totally from scratch. Long answer: See our blog post "What Does Custom Website Design Mean"?
How long will it take?
That’s another tough question to answer. It depends on what type of site you need done. You can expect that a most simple project project will take at least 6 weeks from start to finish.
Are you available?
We are available to take on new projects starting October and would love to hear about yours! Please feel free to submit your request for proposal inquiry in order to have your project considered at that time.

Do I need to have all my content (text, photos, media) ready?
Preferably, yes. We can help look for appropriate stock photos and other media if needed, but your site text should be ready before the design process begins. The reason why we prefer this is because it helps us determine the tone of the design and also what your website should contain. There are also spacing and other layout issues to take into consideration as well.
If you don’t have your text ready and need help with this, we’ll be more than happy to refer you to a copywriter that can help.
Can we talk about my new project?
We’d love to! Fill in our RFP form to get your project started right away or contact us to start a conversation with us by email.
How does it work?

Can you write my website copy, photograph my products, etc?
We don’t provide services outside of web design, development, and illustration, however we partner with several great people who do! And of course, if we can’t help, we’ll put you in contact with someone who can.
Will you provide me with several concepts (mockups) to choose from?
We have a one concept policy. We believe in giving you the very best and well-thought out solution that we can rather than one very good concept and several more mediocre ones.

Do you assign me the copyright on the web site design after I pay?
Not unless agreed to in advance. We normally assign exclusive rights to you to use and reproduce your web design in it’s final format. That means you can’t use elements from the web design for other materials and media without written permission from us. This is different than a logo design in which the full copyright is passed over to you.
In some cases, upon request, we can negotiate the passage of the copyright over to you. This is usually done with an extra fee as agreed between both parties.
